Augustial OC : Hai Ling

**Tried a few new things here with this one. Hope you all like her as much as I do!**

And now, I present to you, the final pony species that calls Alimare home! Augustials! (Ah-guhs-tee-el)

These draconic ponies are the keepers of time and knowledge, and are the oldest breed of pony in existence. They live on the mysterious Celestial Isle, and have the ability to change into majestic dragons! The Isle itself has been cut off from the rest of the world for nearly ten thousand years, and most ponies believe it to be nothing more than a myth. The only way to find the island is to not be looking for it (kind of like the Room of Requirement in Hogwarts XD). Even after it has been found, adventurers need to pass its massive koi fish guards just to dock on its golden shores.

They are led by the Golden August Empress, the oldest Augustial alive with a record 4000 years under her mighty and benevolent wings.

Profession: Scribe for the Golden August Empress

Personality: Ling is level headed and precise, and she is a stickler for rules and tradition. She is not known for having a temper, and is often the voice of reason in court behind the Empress herself. She is awkward around foals, having never grown up with siblings. Independent to a fault, it takes a lot for her to realize she needs help if she's overwhelmed, which happens a lot. She enjoys taking charge, almost to the point that she has something to prove by doing so.

Brief Backstory: Ling was born an only foal to elite members of the imperial court. From a young age, she proved to have a knack for organization and learning, and her parents immediately saw her potential and sent her away to study under the Golden August Empress's finest scholars. She grew up in the palace from that point on, rarely seeing her family. She dedicated her entire life to the pursuit of knowledge, surpassing her mentors by gaining access to the Realm of Time at the record-breaking age of seven years. With this achievement, she was able to dwell among her ancestors, traversing the passages of time to study and learn with them. When she emerged at the age of fifteen, she was pronounced a true keeper of time, and was sent to work under the Empress herself. She has since vowed her life to the study of truth for her monarch, and is among the most irreplaceable members of the court.
