Seeking Faering Guest Artists! {OPEN}

The Faerings group is looking for people who would be interested in becoming a guest artist for any upcoming guest artist events! We will host several throughout the year, and guest artists may even be picked at random to create an adopt even if no event is currently happening! If you'd like to ever be considered to be a guest artist for Faerings, please read the rules and guidelines below, and then fill out our application (read below for details on how to fill out and submit the application)!

RULES AND GUIDELINES

• You MUST be a member of Faerings to participate. Why? Because your entries will be going into the Guest Artist folder in the gallery. Only members are allowed to submit there.

• As a guest artist, you get to keep ALL the profits you make on your adopt!

• If you decide to keep your made Faering(s), please let the group know via a note, and remember that it will cost $ or to keep each one. At that point, your ticket is no longer a Guest Artist ticket, but turns into a MYO ticket. If you choose to keep your Faering(s), you cannot make more to sell once your Guest Artist ticket becomes a MYO ticket. You must wait to be invited to be a guest artist again if you wish to make a Faering to place up for adoption.

• The minimum base price for your adopt(s) is $5 or 500

• You may place your Faering(s) as a flat price adopt or an auction. If you choose to do an auction, I do not care what your minimum increase or AB prices are. That is up to you!

• You may make common/uncommon trait/Class Faering(s) only for your adopts. Please see the Trait Guide below. If you wish to use rare or mythic traits, you MUST note the group for permission. Please DO NOT argue with us if we tell you no. We like to try and keep rare and mythic traits just that -- rare!

• If you are unsure about something, note the group, or ask in the comments under Q&A below.

• This is not a co-ownership right. These guest artist tickets are good for you to use ONCE.

• Guest artist tickets will be valid for ONE YEAR ONLY OR UNTIL THE END OF A SPECIAL EVENT. After you accept, the count-down begins! We will be keeping track of guest artist tickets privately.

• If your guest artist ticket is offered to you to be used any time during the year, feel free to use it whenever you'd like!

• If your guest artist ticket is for a specific event, you only have until the END OF THE EVENT to use your ticket. After the event is over, your guest artist ticket is considered expired.

• You may NOT sell, trade, or give away your guest artist ticket! If you are unable to use your ticket or choose not to use it for any reason, it will automatically become VOID after 1 year. Our offer to you will remain open until then, or until an event's closing date.

• Digital or traditional mediums are accepted.

• Finished Faering(s) MUST tag AlimareEmpire, PrinceRansom and Faerings.

• Applications will never close! Feel free to turn in an application at any time.

We will NOTE people that we think would make good guest artists after a review of their applications. Please do NOT note us, the group, or comment asking if/when guest artists will be chosen. As of this moment we do not know how many people we will ask and when. It will depend on the upcoming events or if we decide we'd like a guest artist to join us in making adopts during the year!

FAERING TRAITS

Faering Trait Guide and Links to All ClassesWhat Are Faerings?
Faerings are a fairy-themed, equine species who live in the mist-veiled land of Avalon. These magical ponies come in several different varieties. Each type is unique and has their own special powers and abilities. All Faerings have a "fairy ring" of mushrooms on their backs, which encircles their magical fairy pool. Above the pool hovers their fairy bell -- the source of their lives and magic -- which is suspended by beautiful fairy wings.
These traits are subject to change at any time, especially as the species gets going! We'll let you all know if something does change, but for now, these lists are current. Feel free to ask any and all questions in the comments.
